I thought I would come by and introduce myself since I havent been by quite yet
My name is Amber (26), married to Chad (27) and we have one little pup. I was excited to see this group but didnt find out about it until well into the March challenge so glad to have some support! My April goals are:
*workout 5X a week (this month will probably be the toughest for this one but at least 30 minutes of something additional)
*eat at least one fruit or veggie each day (something I am still working on)
*cut down on sodium and sugars
In high school I was a good healthy weight of around 135-140. Went to college, by the time I graduated in 2003 I had gotten up to 185. I never weighed myself, went out partied too hard and ate like crap. I had actually lost about 10 lbs right before our wedding, knocking me down to around 175 for our wedding in May 2003.
Then, right after the wedding I ate like a pig, gained more weight but then lost some. Took a job in June 2005 where I did no exercise, the door was right in front of my face and sat on my the whole time and gained more weight.
In July 2006 I started WW and weighed in at 207.5 and as of today (4-6-07) I was down to 178.8 which brings my total to 28.7 lbs lost so far. My goal weight is 140 lbs which Im hoping I can get down to by December 2007. My goal for each week is to lose 1.1 lbs a week and so far I have been meeting this goal and more except for this week.
