May -- New Beginnings

Hello All!! I just wanted to write a quick Hi and say that I am in for May...Hard core. May I am starting over with a new outlook...still continuing BFL, but going at this hard core. I have weddings coming up that I am in and beach season too...time to buckle down!!

I am joining a 4 week boot camp at the gym -- Three 6am sessions a week for the 4 weeks with weekly weigh ins etc...kinda scary, but great to get me up and moving.

So my May goals are going to be...
1. Eat when I am hungry and ONLY when I am hungry
2. Work out at least 6 days a week
3. Be outside as much as possible working out, walking the dogs, bike riding etc.
4. Kick some butt!!

I think that is all I have! Welcome all of you new folks and welcome back to all those returning!! Here is to an awesome May!!!

Pics Posted and Crock Pot Recipe

Hello! I have posted my pics of what I have eaten all day today on my blog so you will need to check it out. Boy was that a lot of work...hopefully I will have time to do it tomorrow too.

Also for those of you who asked about my Crock Pot Taco Chicken recipe...I posted that as well.

Hello and Happy March!

Hello everyone! Happy March! I love March because it brings so many things, spring, warmer weather, my birthday (heehee) and it means summer is getting closer!!

I wanted to introduce myself to all of the newbies, my name is Carrie and I live in Baltimore and am on a quest to get in better shape and lose weight in the process. For March I have started a new challenge for myself Body-for-Life for Women you can read more about it here. And welcome back to all of the returning Challengers!

For my March goals I would like to:
- Drink 10 Glasses of Water a Day
-Get to the gym or workout 6 days a week
-Lose or Maintain my weight every week (thanks Jeannie for this idea!)
-To complete the Baltimore Stadium Trek (click here if you'd like to sponsor me! --Carrie Dallhoff)

Also I am continuing with my Lenten Challenge of no pizza or french fries. I am 13 days in and going strong...only 27 more days to go!!

March is bringing 31 days of hard work...24 days of going to the gym...and a wedding shower, bachelorette party, St. Patty's day and birthday in between there somewhere. (which is why going to the gym 6 days a week is a MUST)

Here is to a great month everyone!! Keep going strong!!

Carrie's Info

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to you all since this is my first month with the challenge.

I am 27 years old, live in Baltimore, Maryland with my new husband (been married 6 months), our 3 dogs (His - Chloe, Mine - Mack & Ours - Tucker) and some fish.

I currently weigh in at 188.8 and am a WW member--I have been for a year and started at 212lbs. (weigh in is tomorrow...wish me luck!) and would like to reach an ultimate goal weight of 165 by the 27th of May when my husband and I go on our "real" honeymoon to Belize.

My goals for the February Challenge are:
1. To drink 64 oz. of water every day
2. Hit the gym (or run at home) at least 4 days a week
3. Do sit ups every day
4. Get below 180lbs

I want to wish you all the best of luck this month...especially my new partner Jeannie!!
