June baby!Hey everyone! I'm so excited for this month's challenge. I (like a lot of you it seems) was in a bit of a rut throughout May. But I'm ready to get back into it and to be a good partner again!!!

Bring on March!Welcome back to all the vets and a special welcome to the newcomers! I can't wait to get to know you this month :)
My name is Jeannie. I'm 25 (well I'll actually be 26 by the end of this month... eek!) and have been 'dieting' for the past 3 years. The first year I did aweosme and lost just over 40 pounds, kept it off for a while, but this summer gained a little too much back. So I'm hoping to get back to where I was before and then lose a few more pounds!
My March goals are to 1) just see a loss or a maintain every week when I weigh in. I just want the scale to be going in the right direction so as long as its not UP I'll be happy! And 2) I want to get up and go to the gym BEFORE work 2 days a week. I'm horrible at getting up. I can get up at 6:15 get a 45 minute workout in and still have plenty of time to get ready and get to work on time. And I dont think 6:15 is all that early. I feel so much better when I work out in the morning and it just sets good tone for the day.

Happy February!Hey everyone! I'm so excited to get started on a new month and a new challenge! So fun to see some new people joining us! My name is Jeannie. I live in Charlotte, NC and I'm totally pumped to kick some butt in Feb! (and if you cant tell, I tend to excessively use exclamation points)
My goals for Feb are:
- Drink at least 64 oz water per day
- Earn at least 15 APs (weight watchers activity points) per week
- Lose 6 pounds
I technically started my Feb goals on Sat (I like to keep my weeks Sat-Fri when dealing with weight loss stuff... I'm a spaz like that haha) and so far I'm doing ok. I havent been great about drinking water, but have by 15 APs for this week already and plan on getting a few more!

My Cabinets Need Love Too!Last week we had the fridge challenge. And I was all excited and proud to show off my fridge, as I had JUST cleaned it out and restocked it. Well, that wasn't so much the case with my cabinets... so last night when I tried to shove MORE groceries in them I though of all the clean, happy fridges... and decided my cabinets needed some love too. Check it out!

Workout music - JeannieSanta brought me a nano for Christmas as my old iPod is a little broken. It still works, but the screen is messed up, so 50% of the times I cant see the screen which makes it hard to navigate. I loooove my little nano, its so little and cute blue! But... I've had my old iPod for over 2 years... and I've got a few great workout playlists that I'm going to have to somehow rebuild onto my new nano.... But I so cant complain!

Bring on the Fridge-Fest!I can't believe you posed this as a challenge, because last night I was SO CLOSE to taking a picture of my fridge. Only because I was away for 10 days, so we had to clean out our fridge before leaving... so I went to the store yesterday and bought all sorts of healthy stuff and I looked at my fridge (not freezer... teehee) when I was done unpacking the groceries and was so proud of how weight loss friendly it looked!!! So I will totally take a picture of my fridge tonight and post it tomorrow morning!
And I agree with everyone else that it's been great reading all of your blogs and getting to know everyone! I know I'm not alone when I say it's just what I need to help get my healthy weight loss started!

Hi from Charlotte, NCHey everyone! My name is Jeannie (Points and Pounds), I'm 25 years old, recently moved to Charlotte, NC from NYC (ok, by recently I mean I moved in July so I've been here for 6 months now, but it still feels like I just moved so we'll pretend). I live with my girlfriend/finace, Arleigh and our puppy. And I am absolutely determined to lose this extra weight in 2007!
My weight loss history is as follows. I was always overweight, and finally joined weight watchers in February of 2004. I started at 212 pounds and got down to 170... I maintained that for a while, but since I moved in July have put on abouw 15 pounds. So it's time to get back on track and actually GET to my goal of 150.
My goal for January is to just get back into tracking everything I eat and get to the gym at LEAST 3 times a week. Hopefully I'll lose a few pounds by doing this, but I really just need to get back into a routine after the crazy holidays!
I'm so looking forward to hearing about everyone's success, and hope to join you in some of your challenges!
Let's do this!!!
