Warning for others

Hey yall,

Today I was reading through blogs-from here and others people- anywho, I clicked on one link at scalewhore and was taken to a porno site!! Obviously, I clicked out of there quickly, but I was completely in shock! So anyway, just wanted to warn some of you to check your links and stuff to make sure they are actually people's blogs and still active.

WHAT IS WORKING FOR ME!

Yes half the month has already slipped by - I really don't know where this year is going.
I have been very busy this month with finishing our new house but have been sticking to the challenges I have set myself. The only thing so far in my goals for this month that I haven't really achieved is for me to have some "ME TIME". I am rectifying that this afternoon when I pamper myself, I just don't seem to have any time for myself at the minute and am looking forward to soaking in the bath and pampering myself. My husband is off for a night out so I will have all the time in the world to pamper myself.
I have a hairdressing appointment tomorrow as my hair needs a trim so all in all I think by this time tomorrow I should be a step forward in meeting this goal.
The only real exercising I have been doing is walking but hopefully this will change. At the minute I don't have a car but collect my new car tonight so will be able to go to the pool loads more as it is too far to walk to the health suite! HOORAY for independence!
I have found a secret food - you know the ice poles that you buy unfrozen and put in the freezer! They are only 8 calories each! I often fancy something sweet and never know what I can have without pigging out but this takes the cravings away! These have definitely been my saviour for this month and have preventing me giving up.
Everyone seems to be doing really really well this month - I am proud of you all! I have stopped by most of your blogs already but if I haven't yet I promise to get round to it!
All in all this has been a wonderful month so far as regard the challenge and I think it can only get better. Thanks to each and everyone of you for your support, encouragement and inspiration!

June Goals

Hey everyone!!! I know that it is already June 9th but I still haven't posted my goals on here. I am going to try and cut back on the amount of diet soda I drink ( about 4 or 5 cans a day) and exercise more ( basically start exercising). I am starting back on my diet on Monday because Monday is diet day:) and because we have a party to go to and I love cake. I am going to try and get some exercise in today and tomorrow so this weekend won't be a total wash. I hope everyone is having a good month. Go Team Challenge!!

Cory's Goals

I don't think I've really posted my goals yet. I usually do that on the first of the month, I'm just off my game.

This month I decided that I'm just going to be sure to keep going. My goal is simply to not give up.

I know that might seem a simple, but May was a hard month for me. I'm pushing myself with things that I want to do, but I'm keeping everything open as well.

I know that everyone is going to do well this month, and I'm proud to be in this challenge with each of you!

My June goals are to recoup from gallbladder surgery and follow WW CORE plan. I'm not up to road cycling just yet, but I want to re-start that probably in a week or so...depending on what the doc says.

Yeah!! We've reached mid-year, y'all!! I think that is very exciting!

June baby!

Hey everyone! I'm so excited for this month's challenge. I (like a lot of you it seems) was in a bit of a rut throughout May. But I'm ready to get back into it and to be a good partner again!!!

I've posted my goals and everything else here, so feel free to swing by!

I did the challenge for the first 3 months and then took a break for 2.

I'm glad to be back and looking forward to reading everyone's success stories!

My goals for June are simple and realistic..

1) Log ALL food onto Fitday. (links up to my page)
No matter what I eat.

2) Make as many healthy choices each day that I can.
Doesn't mean I'm giving up any of my fav foods though :). I'll just have them in moderation!


Now is not the time to TRY. It is the time to DO

Michelle's June Goals

Hey everyone :) A quick recap for the new folks to our blog ... I'm a 32-year old divorced mom to two amazing wonderkids (almost 11 year old boy and 6 year old girlie girl). I work full-time, have been accepted back to school full-time in August, loves to dance hula, knit, and work in my garden :) I've battled my weight my entire life, and have twice successfully lost a significant amount of weight. I working on the third and final time to losing weight and getting healthy.

I have several goals for the month.

  1. First and foremost, together with challenge partner Tee, I'm going to stick to my plan for the entire month. No matter what happens this month, I'm sticking to my plan and finishing the ENTIRE MONTH!
  2. To make life a bit more manageable, I've decided to break the month into weekly challenges, and so far this week, my challenge to myself is to get back to basics - clean out my 'frig and kitchen of all the nasty snackies that somehow found their way into my home. You can see Part 1 of the Great 'Frig Cleanup here.
  3. I'm also taking a photo of myself every day and posting it on my blog. They aren't the prettiest of photos as the last two days have proven, but it's kinda like a constant reminder to myself that I am not happy with the way I look right now. I avoid mirrors and cameras at all costs. Putting this photo online every day is REALLY hard, but I think it'll help me kick some booty this month!
  4. I've also been issued a cardio challenge by my partner Tigerlilly - complete 6 hours of cardio beginning TODAY and ending Friday. That breaks down roughly into 72 minutes of cardio per day. It's a heck of alot more cardio than I've been doing lately, but I can do it!
I'm also very excited to get to know three new challengers this month ... Terri, Nan, and Natalie. I'm very happy to welcome Fatinah and Lola back to our challenge after a break. And of course - it just wouldn't be the same without Amber, Christy, Alana, Cory, Joy, Morgan, Amethyst, Jeannie, Maria, Tee, and Tigerlilly !

    Hi fellow challengers,

    I am SOOOO glad to see so many people coming back for June!

    May was definitely a low month for me (and I know a few others) but no point dwelling on it - you can read about it on my blog (www.dubai2ireland.blogspot.com).
    The good news is that I am ready to kick some butt in June - all my negativity has gone and it is now time to change how I look and feel! I have set myself so really do-able challenges this month as I don't want to let myself down and think slow and steady is the way to go now!     Welcome to June! It's going to be a FABULOUS month, and we are going to make so much progress in our journey to wellness!

We have a pretty good sized group this month, make sure you visit your challenge partners regularly, but feel free to spread the love within the entire group :)

    As most of us are recommitting ourselves, how about a Refrigerator Before & After challenge to get us started this month? If you'd like to participate, you'll need to take a before & after photo of your refrigerator. The goal is to get rid of all the junk foods that have snuck their way back into our refrigerators in May. Extra kudos to those challengers that already have great refrigerators! Everyone should have authoring rights to the challenge blog - please log in, introduce yourselves, and share what your June challenge is going to be.
