June Goals

Hey everyone!!! I know that it is already June 9th but I still haven't posted my goals on here. I am going to try and cut back on the amount of diet soda I drink ( about 4 or 5 cans a day) and exercise more ( basically start exercising). I am starting back on my diet on Monday because Monday is diet day:) and because we have a party to go to and I love cake. I am going to try and get some exercise in today and tomorrow so this weekend won't be a total wash. I hope everyone is having a good month. Go Team Challenge!!

Let's get going!!!

I am not sure yet what my over all goal for the month of May is, but I do have a goal for the first week. I can not order lunch out at all this week. I did so good during my 40 day challenge but as soon as it was over I was order almost everyday and that is not good for my weight of my pocket!

Welcome Back

Hi Everyone!!! I want to say welcome back to everyone that has participated in the January and February challenges and Hello to our newest members. If you want to get to know me better you can read my 100 Things about me post that I wrote last July. I am a 28 year old married mother of one. I have been overweight most of my life and I am ready to take control of my body and my health. My goal for March sounds simple but it isn't going to be for me. I can only weigh in once a week. I am a total scale ho. I weigh several times every morning. But for the next month I can only weigh in every Friday morning. I want to wish everyone good luck on there goals and I can't wait to find out who my partner is.

Oh what should I give up..

Okay so I have went back and forth over what to give up. I honestly can't think of any food or drink that I am currently eating that is all that bad. Since I am doing WW it is all about moderation. So.....I have decided that for the next 40 days I will not order lunch out. This may not seem big to some of you but my department orders lunch out 3 to 5 times per week. They are also the kind that keep asking "Are you sure you don't want something?". This will help me save money and lose weight.

I still here!!!

Hey everyone!!! I am back for the February Challenge. My goals this month are to drink 100 oz of water everyday, exercise 3 times a week, and to blog 3 times a week. I would also like to lose 5lbs but we'll see what happens. I just want to say welcome to anyone new that has joined the challenge!!! I big Thanks to everyone

Hey!!! I just wanted to say Thank you!!!! to everyone that commented on this post. Hey from Alabama!!

My name is Christy. My website is Dream to be Thin. I am 27(almost 28), married for 5 years to a wonderful man. I have one sweet adorable son Noah (19 months). Oh and one more thing I am fat!!! I have been fat my whole life. I can not remember a time that I started gaining weight because I have always been overweight. I remember my mom putting me on diets my whole life or telling me I shouldn't be eating something but for the most part I just ate and ate. When I was 20 I went on my first real diet. I counted calories and exercised. I lost about 55lbs and got down to around 155ish which is still overweight for my 5'2 frame but it was a lot better than the the 200+ is weighed before. I maintained my weight loss for a few years my weight floated around 165 until after I got married when I was 22 and then if started climbing. At first I would gain a few pounds then work to get it back off but when we decided to try and get pregnant all bets were off. I probably weighed about 190 when I got pregnant and about 250+ towards the end of my pregnancy. During my pregnancy I had High Blood Pressure which caused me to be taken out of work in my 2nd trimester and for my son to be induced 5 weeks early and I had gestational diabetes which caused me to be on a strict diet, just think of how much weight I might have gained with out this. About 6 weeks after my son was born I weighed in at a chart topping 221. With the help of WW I got down to around 182. Now I am back up to 191 and ready to change my eating habits forever. I want to reach a normal healthy weight for my body and teach my husband and son how to eat healthy and enjoy exercise. My goal for January is to lose 5lbs and to exercise at least 3 times a week.
